I am a bit of a novice at restoring classic cars, just installed a VVC engine into an MGF (MPI) few problems but got there in the end.
Now, I am embarking on restoration of a 1972 Midget (1275). It is in a very sorry state I have not looked closely on how bad the chassis is. However, I also have a LHD Midget possibly older than the 1972 one but do not have any information on it. This one has a good chassis with minor work (possible welding) but stripped down as can be seen by the photos. The welding side of restoration does not phase me at all. I have all the gear for it and I am very handy at welding. I am working away at the moment and looking forward to getting stuck in with my young Son. So here are a couple of photos for you guys to see what I am up against lol. Cannot put a time frame on the project but suspect it will take quite a few months
